Context and problem

Traditional task managers record what a user planned to do, but usually capture little about how the work was actually carried out. That gap limits how useful they can be for preparing a workspace, reviewing focus sessions, or improving future time estimates.

Engineering approach

SAMT links planned tasks with workspace resources, session timing, and local activity classification. The resulting history is intended to make future planning more informed while keeping personal work data local by default.
